YB : No. I'd to ask him a question 1st.

YB : Asking him if he'd any younger brother/sister.

YB : You know why I'd asked him this question?

School Residential Trip?

EB : Very tired.

EB : Because we'd to do all these Abseiling..
Tree Climbing etc. using a lot of energy. I's..
Very nervous at times too. So these...
Made me very tired.

I : No regret, then?

EB : No, No.
I was very happy though very tired.
And I's....

I : And..??

EB : And I's very touched.

I : Interesting. Why?

EB : On one night, I's exhausted...
So, I went to my sleeping bag earlier...
While others were talking in the hall.

I : Could you sleep?

EB : Yes.

I : Because you're so tired?

EB : Not just that. But more because..
2 boys told others to be quiet....
Reminding them I's trying to sleep.

I : That's very touching.

EB : Yes. And....

I : And..??

EB : And I'd a ....sound sleep!

YB : X told me.

YB : 15, 16? 20, 23?

I : What if your future girl friend knows...
Your Mum doesn't speak fluent English?

YB : No worries. I'll speak to her a day...
before her meeting Mum, telling her that...
Mum's English isn't as good as her Chinese.

Fear

I had a chat with my Elder Boy,
After him returning from his school camp.

I : Well, so, how do you find the camp?

EB : Good. Excited & Very Tiring.

I : Did you 'Face Your Fear'?

EB : Oh, Yes, the Abseiling.
Really scary!

I : You did do it?

EB : Yes. I thought I's going to die.

I : But you still did it?

EB : Yes - it took me a long time though.

I : You'd be very proud of youself.
I's an adult & a police when I first did it.
Long time?  How long?

EB : I don't really know.
But it must have been very long.
An hour or 45 minutes?

I : What actually you're doing for that time?

EB : Half of the time when I's up in the air,
I's asking myself, 'Should I do it?'
Then, half of time in actually doing it!

I : Actually, did you Have to do it?

EB : No.
Anyone could say 'No' if they didn't want to.

I : Was there anyone NOT doing it?

EB : Oh, yes, there were a few of them.

I : If you're so scare, why did you do it then?
You could just walk away like those few.

EB : I told you before.
Because I like to 'Face My Fear'.

I : How did you feel after Facing Your Fear?

EB : Very Good!

While walking to school with Younger Boy,
I asked him a question.

I : What're the requirements of a good father?

YB : 1st, he's to be 31 years older than his child.

I : O.K.

YB : 2nd, he's to make sure his child safe & healthy.

I : Alright.

YB : 3rd, he's to give his child a good education.

I : Good.

YB : There're many others.


I : Could I just clarify 1 point?

YB : Yes.

I : Why a father has to be 31 not 30/32 older?

YB : Just a general idea.

I : General idea?

YB : Yes. A Father has to be old enough,
To make them good enough to teach his child.
