I had a chat with my Elder Boy,
After him returning from his school camp.

I : Well, so, how do you find the camp?

EB : Good. Excited & Very Tiring.

I : Did you 'Face Your Fear'?

EB : Oh, Yes, the Abseiling.
Really scary!

I : You did do it?

EB : Yes. I thought I's going to die.

I : But you still did it?

EB : Yes - it took me a long time though.

I : You'd be very proud of youself.
I's an adult & a police when I first did it.
Long time?  How long?

EB : I don't really know.
But it must have been very long.
An hour or 45 minutes?

I : What actually you're doing for that time?

EB : Half of the time when I's up in the air,
I's asking myself, 'Should I do it?'
Then, half of time in actually doing it!

I : Actually, did you Have to do it?

EB : No.
Anyone could say 'No' if they didn't want to.

I : Was there anyone NOT doing it?

EB : Oh, yes, there were a few of them.

I : If you're so scare, why did you do it then?
You could just walk away like those few.

EB : I told you before.
Because I like to 'Face My Fear'.

I : How did you feel after Facing Your Fear?

EB : Very Good!

After viewing a few rentals,
My Younger Boy had a chat with me.

YB : Dad, have you bought the white house?

I : White house?

YB : Yes. The one we saw two days ago.

I : Oh, that one! It's a rental.

YB  : Oh, have you rented it yet?

I : No,

YB : You better hurry up.

I : Why?

YB : Because someone will get it.

I : O.K. Alright. So, tell me,
What do you like about the house?

YB : It's obvious.

I : Oh, yes....
Which is?

Yb : I like the mixed tap in its bathroom.

Purpose

Elder boy to be away from home for 3 days/2 nights.
I'd a chat with him about what's to expect.

I : Are you excited about the Residential?
   (School arranged Training Camp)

EB : Yes.

I : What do you think the 'Danger' would be?

EB : Water?

I : What do you mean?

EB : We'd have some water activities.
Getting drown?

I : Good thinking. Anything else?

EB : Height?

I : What do you mean?

EB : We'd have some climbing activities.
Falling from Height?

I : Yes. Anything else?

EB :Mmmm....

I : What about People?

EB : What do you mean?

I : When some young people away from home,
Staying nights far away with many others.
Few would misbehave & make troubles.

EB : Well, I won't be one of them!

I : Well, what do you think the Purpose of...

Father

While walking to school with Younger Boy,
I asked him a question.

I : What're the requirements of a good father?

YB : 1st, he's to be 31 years older than his child.

I : O.K.

YB : 2nd, he's to make sure his child safe & healthy.

I : Alright.

YB : 3rd, he's to give his child a good education.

I : Good.

YB : There're many others.


I : Could I just clarify 1 point?

YB : Yes.

I : Why a father has to be 31 not 30/32 older?

YB : Just a general idea.

I : General idea?

YB : Yes. A Father has to be old enough,
To make them good enough to teach his child.
